Liam joined the firm as an associate in 1997 and was admitted to partnership in 2005. He received a B.A. (Hons) from St. Francis Xavier University and an LL.B from the University of New Brunswick.
He offers a broad range of services in the field of civil litigation as well as administrative and corporate law. He has appeared in Courts at all levels in the Province, as well as many administrative tribunals, particularly in the areas of medical malpractice defence, insurance and employment. Liam also offers expert advice to a variety of administrative tribunals in the area of professional discipline.
Liam is a past Chair of the Health Law Section of the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of the Canadian Bar Association and has served as a presenter at a variety of seminars and lectures in the Health Law field. He has acted in an advisory capacity to several local charitable groups and is an elected Bencher of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
