Mr. Smith joined our firm in 1989 and became partner in 1995.
Mr. Smith practices in the field of civil litigation, with a concentration on insurance law. In this capacity he represents insurance companies in the defence of automobile, residential, and commercial insurance claims, regularly providing advice to insurance companies on various aspects of insurance law.
He received a B.A., M. Ed (admin) from Memorial University, and a LL.B from the University of New Brunswick.
Mr. Smith is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and is a lecturer in the civil litigation section of the Law Society's Bar Admission Course.
