Ms. Muzychka joined our firm in 1988 and became a partner in 1994. She practices in the field of litigation, with a concentration on insurance defence and medical malpractice law. In this capacity, she represents the interests of professional associations and insurance companies in the defence of medical malpractice claims and automobile and commercial claims. Ms. Muzychka appears regularly in the Supreme Court Trial Division as well as the Court of Appeal.
She holds a B. Comm. (Hons) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an LL.B from The University of New Brunswick. In 1988 she was called to the bar.
Ms. Muzychka is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and a member of the Canadian Bar Association. She is presenter in the civil litigation section of the Law Society's Bar Admission Course, and also a presenter in Seminars and Lectures in the area of Health and Insurance Law. Ms. Muzychka is Past President and an Honourary Bencher of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In her community efforts, Ms. Muzychka is past Chair of the Rising Tide Theatre Association, a popular and well-known Newfoundland theatrical group.
